My feathered friends are a favorite subject for drawing and photography. I am fortunate to have a wonderful variety of birds in my back yard so the choices for this week’s drawing challenge will be many. I hope you enjoy drawing:
I needed a little mental health break and I had one last blank canvas to use before I pack up all my art supplies. While the result is a little eerie, the process of painting all the little branches of this barren tree was soothing. And the background is cheerful at least. The theme for this challenge was flowers. One of my favorite flowers is the poppy. It’s a cheerful bloom that also has meaning for it’s connection to the First World War.
