“We’ll Always have Paris.” Casablanca
All over the world, our hearts are breaking for our Parisian brothers and sisters. We love you.
This quote is the third in a challenge to post three quotes in three days. This was not the one I originally intended to post. Events in Paris yesterday made me think of this simple quote from a classic movie that can be taken in a much more meaningful way.
Anand, one of my favorite people in all of Bloggerdom, hosts blabberwockying, a wonderful blog loaded with pearls of wisdom, philosophical musings and stories of Anand’s own personal journey to peace. He is the one who invited me to participate in the challenge. Please go visit him.
That is nice of you. My condolences. RIP 🙂
LOve and light ❤
Anand 🙂

It’s about the direction earth’s population takes. Throughout history groups have made the effort to shift the minds and the treasure of the population to that of a kingdom, empire, religion or philosophy. The tolerance of and resistance to being overtaken has brought us to where we are today. Fiction is full of the “what if’s” had those past efforts had different outcomes. Try to imagine the life here on earth if the modern world allows this murderous group to take control. They make the Egyptians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Barbarians, Mongols, Ottomans, Soviets, Nazi’s, Imperial Japanese and all the others look like amateurs.
