Ok, so this deserves some explanation for my non-nerd friends. Firefly is a space “western” for lack of a better description, produced by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, etc.) that follows the crew of the Serenity, starring a whole lot of people you would recognize. It only lasted half a season before it got cancelled, with great outcry by a faithful and vocal group of fans (like yours truly). In order to appease the cult of Firefly, a feature length movie -Serenity- was commissioned to finish the story. Nevertheless, fans are still whining about the cancellation to this day…
