One of the very first subjects I tried drawing was a pixie-like alien for a children’s story I was writing. This one is a lot better than that rather embarrassing first try, but it is still one of my earliest attempts. Unfortunately for me, this challenge fell at a very inopportune time. My time and my mind have been thoroughly occupied with the stress of the international move. So I am sharing this older drawing instead of something new. Hopefully things will have settled down in time for the next challenge!

I remember well, it took me a good three months to get my self and “stuff” ready to ship out. Enjoy 🙂

International move or not, I like it. Sort of reminds me of Julia Roberts in the Hook only she had a really scruffy hairstyle.

With all the wee folk where you are now you will have plenty of opportunity to perfect pixies and fairies!
