So many kinds of trees, so many choices this week. I like to draw trees so that’s not a hardship. Finally, though, I decided to draw a very famous tree: The Lone Cypress that perches on the cliff at Pebble Beach Golf Course on the Monterey Coast of California. The tree is the emblem of the club.
I visited the club in 2014 and had a glimpse of the famous (and now protected) tree. Here is my lone cypress:
That’s a course I’ve ALWAYS wanted to play. California is just so damn far away. 😏

It’s really beautiful! We didn’t play but got to tour the grounds. They were setting up for some tournament while we were there. 😃 Bucket list!

No doubt! It is a public course…for a cost. But, it’d be worth every penny! 😃
