Painting (16) Sun Sets Behind the Trees

I keep painting forest scenes. I really need to branch out. (Bad pun, couldn’t resist) This past weekend, my abstract forest found a new home and a print of the moonlight forest in blue gets shipped on Monday.

Trees without leaves are atmospheric and moody. Creepy even (in a good way). With the bright colors as a backdrop, the stark contrast is even greater. Here is my latest:

      1. We had a snafu going as well. Flight from Chicago to Toronto got delayed to the point that we would’ve missed our connection to Amsterdam. If not for the guy that got us hooked up with the direct flight to Amsterdam instead, that’d have been a nightmare too. The perils of traveling. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
