Thank you! I’m ready to hit the road for someplace warm and sunny and with handsome beach waiters and umbrella drinks!

At this point, I’d go anywhere just to get away from my life… but nice weather would be a bonus…

I’m feeling that way my self – needing to get away. Very much in the doldrums the past couple of weeks. I need to write myself an escapist story….

Yeah. It seems I can’t get far enough away from anything lately. It’s all in my head screaming at me. I hate it! Maybe I need the umbrella drink part. lol

I’ll tell you what… a change of scenery can work wonders for the soul. I swear whenever I go away, my wrinkles disappear!

LOL. Maybe I need to disappear for a very long time… and when I come back, I’ll be 25. 😛

That was gutsy. Driving and taking pics.

I got all lined up when I was at a red light so all I had to do was start shooting when we started moving. Never took my eyes off the road!

Meg, wonderful black and whites! The first one is brilliant, the capture of stillness and movement, along with fantastic textures! The second has a feel of “where are we going?” The big sky in this photo (which is fabulous) leaves me with the thought of, paraphrasing here, “we’re not in Kansas anymore Toto”, maybe it’s the dark foreboding sky. Both excellent photos! Have a wonderful day. 🙂 💗

Thank you. Yes, I adjusted the contrast so that the sky wouldn’t be lost in the ‘white’. And I am ready to hit the road and flee this dreadful weather!

You’re welcome, Meg. You should be here, yesterday was in the 90’s and today the high is to be 85 degrees, crazy weather we have here. 😉

Great shots!
For some reason a scene from Planes, Trains & Automobiles came to mind:
Other Driver: You’re going the wrong way!
John Candy: He’s Drunk. How does he know where we’re going?!
😉

Hahaha! oh boy! Well, I tried to take these in a safe way: getting lined up for the shot while traffic was stopped and then just hitting the button when we started moving again! 😀

They both are lovely Meg. But I like the second one as it has more dramatic disappearing effect of some kind. 😊

I love the perspective, particularly in the first one. Nice!
