Three More Days, Three More Quotes (1)

The idea of this challenge is to post 1-3 quotes per day on 3 consecutive days and challenge someone else to do the same. Jacqueline, Oby-Ikocha hosts A Cooking Pot and Twisted Tales, a wonderful blog with short stories both fiction and fact, beautiful poetry and photos from her life abroad . Please go visit her!

Here is my quote for today:

“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”  – Dr. Seuss

Embrace the weirdness, my darlings;  it’s what makes life interesting.  XO

I challenge my pal Kelsey at Kaykeeps to join in the fun!

Three Days, Three Quotes (Day 3)

“We’ll Always have Paris.”  Casablanca

All over the world, our hearts are breaking for our Parisian brothers and sisters.  We love you.

This quote is the third in a challenge to post three quotes in three days.  This was not the one I originally intended to post.  Events in Paris yesterday made me think of this simple quote from a classic movie that can be taken in a much more meaningful way.

Anand, one of my favorite people in all of Bloggerdom, hosts blabberwockying, a wonderful blog loaded with pearls of wisdom, philosophical musings and stories of Anand’s own personal journey to peace.  He is the one who invited me to participate in the challenge.  Please go visit him.

Isn’t that library fabulous?  It even has a drinks cart!  If it had an attached bathroom, you might never get me out of there!

Here is my quote for Day 2:

“The library is the temple of learning and learning has liberated more people than all the wars in history.”  – Carl T. Rowan

Today, I challenge Whitney Parchman of OPRFlife because I know she loves quotes, too!
