Girls who like sports
It’s football season again, in case you didn’t hear. I could spend all day on Sunday parked on the couch watching the tube. Pre game, early game, late game, Sunday night football. I would watch it all. Fantasy teams, stats, sports talk shows, ESPN on twitter. I’m just one of the many girls who like sports. I’ll be in the living room this Sunday. With the guys!
Back to work
So I told you I went to Ireland for a week, right? You would think that the misty isle of Erin, steeped in folklore and fairy tale would be the ultimate place to visit for inspiration, yes? Not so! Aside from the post I wrote about the fairy tree last week, I couldn’t write another word. Mind you, I came away with a couple great ideas for another story, but my current project came to a complete stop last week. Sunday was recuperation day. Monday still jet lagged, I stared at my notebook and went blank. But Tuesday, yes Tuesday I got going again. I solved a problem with my characters’ conversation and rewrote a whole new scene. Up early this morning, I have several hours to write before I start my “real job”. I’m back on track now that I’ve cleared the Irish mist from my head.
