I think the purple sky makes the waves the scariest.

Thanks, Darnell! I like a stormy ocean better for subject matter. Though I wouldn’t want to be out on this kind of sea!

Hi, Meg. Happy Wednesday. Thanks for sharing your Storm at Sea paintings – such stunning images. I particularly like the freedom and looseness of Number 29. Have a great day. Goff

Super cool! Love the motion effect on the second one. Yeah, I love the ocean as much as anyone, but it can certainly be a harsh and dangerous mistress. The power of water is not to be taken lightly. 😃

That’s for sure! The Atlantic is wild up here in the northwest of the country. Thanks so much, Beach!

I can imagine! Is the coastline rocky or sandy? I always picture it being rocks and cliffs.

There are a few sandy beaches but it is mostly rocky coast line. There is an are called Salt Hill just outside of Galway with a nice beach although I’m not as hardy as the Irish in wanting to go in that cold water!

Wow very beautiful ones Meg but i like the acrylic one better than the other. I think the colors are vibrant in it. I too am trying to do digital art though i have no stylus. I have medibang on my android phone and practising with my finger. May be we can do digital art next year?

Thank you, Prema! I like the acrylic one better, too. The digital medium is fun to play with. We can try digital art next year, sure!

Right? I’d not want to sail or swim in that ocean!

Powerful-beautiful paintings. And amazed to hear about this digital painting with an Apple Pencil…..I can´t keep up with technology.

Thanks, Charlie! I found out about it through another artist friend. I’d never have discovered it on my own!
