A Year Of Drawing Adventurously (9) Theme

A biweekly challenge for a total of 26 drawings this year.

Spring has finally sprung in the northeastern United States. It seems that with just a day or two of sunshine and warmth, the flowers all emerge and the buds on the trees all pop out. So for this week’s challenge the theme is:

Any species of tree, any interpretation of the theme is welcome!

  1. Hi Meg i have been lagging behind in my drawings and have posted the latest one on ‘clouds’ just now. Have a look and while you are at it, look at the earlier one too on ‘out like a lamb’ theme and give me your valuable feedback. Thanks in advance!

  2. I have a question. (Yes, it is the last day of April and I’m just checking out this challenge now.) Is the challenge intended for realistic pencil-type drawings like yours? Or would doodles and design-type drawings also ‘qualify’ (for lack of a better word)? I wouldn’t want to make a fool of myself. Even though I have a lot of experience doing just that… 🙂

    1. No it can be any interpretation of the theme and anybody style whatsoever. Just so it’s a drawing and not a painting or photo. Cartoons and doodles are most welcome!

      1. Maybe I will do some of these. I’m still trying to figure out what might keep me posting after A to Z. I don’t really want to disappear again… but I don’t know what’s going to happen to me…

      2. I’d love for you to join. Plus there are a few weeks gone already, you can pick and choose any of the past themes if they are more to your taste. Just don’t go away!
