The Year Of Drawing Adventurously – Week 47: Planes, Trains and Automobiles

One of the most famous pilots ever to fly a plane was the notorious Red Baron: Manfred von Richthofen. He flew the Fokker Dr. I triplane from July 1917, a distinctive three winged aircraft, painted bright red. Here is my sketch of the famous plane:

  1. Hi Meg Prema here. I had been diagnosed with dengue fever and had to be hospitalized for a week. So just vanished from the scene. I am now at home recuperating. Hope to catch up soon. Your airplane looks very authentic and neatly done as always. Teary eyes was also beautifully done. Hope u missed me!
