I’ve been grouping all the colors into one post on Fridays, but… this is a color that has more meaning than hue, so for one special post today in the Color Your World Challenge from Tourmalinenow here is my take on Screaming Green:

As most of you know, I’m in the process of writing a historical novel set partly during World War One. In the course of my research of The Great War, I read all sorts of fascinating stories –some of which will help me write the time period accurately. Other bits of information won’t really help with the writing but they’re just too interesting not to keep reading. You see why this book is taking so long? I keep wandering off the main path onto the side roads and getting lost! The story of Mata Hari is one such detour. However, not only is her story interesting (coming later this week) but her profile was a real challenge to sketch.

Thanks to Tourmalinenow for the Color Your World Challenge. Hmmm, some of these colors are suspiciously similar to previous weeks. Damn it, Crayola! At least black is a color I can heartily endorse!
3. Banana mania: this does not resemble the color of any banana I’ve ever seen, but the dog’s coat is kind of that color. And he is a banana so… here’s Jay Dog!
