I wasn’t able to complete a chapter for my usual post today. Too much to do…
So far the Irish weather is dreadful, I got the full body, super humiliating pat down going through airport security – something showed on the scan, not sure what that’s about- the bus driver from Shannon to Galway was extremely rude which prompted the older ladies (regular riders) to talk about him loudly behind his back. Good stuff.
Oh, and we have tickets to see Connaught play the Ospreys at rugby tomorrow evening. Woot!
Full body pat down could be good in the right situation. Which clearly, this was not. π I hope the weather improves to assist you in your hunt for sexy Irish men.

Hahaha! Rob, this is the same airport where I had the boob faux pas/wardrobe malfunction! I may have to start flying via Logan to Philly! ππ€

Yes, and that way, I can make sure that the local residents get a view, er, are safe when you fly here.

Love when older ladies get passive aggressive! Hate flying. Hate going through security. Rugby players seem hunky and delightful. The universe tends to balance everything out, doesn’t it?

Oh they were adorable! He certainly got an earful! And yes, hunky rugby players! π€

Surely you can be sly about snapping pics! Hope your weather improves. But hey, a rainy day in Ireland is better than a sunny day in Philly, right? π

Rugby seems interesting, but other than going to a rugby team’s party in college, I know nothing about the game. All I remember is that the opposing team was there too, they all sang rude songs, and they burned an old couch on the bonfire. Good times! lol!

Oh my! My sole exposure to rugby is during a previous trip here when France defeated Ireland soundly. But that was just on tv….

No of course not, but the winds yesterday were … well they wouldn’t have killed anyone either… bit of a pain to walk around in though!

You should have given them the pat down back. π Sweet revenge. π after all, they are security, we are putting our lives in their hands. How else can we be sure if not check them too π
On the brighter side, clearly, they probably knew you’re a writer and were checking for more dangerous weapons, considering the pen is mightier than the sword. π (Okay, that made no sense!) Hope the weather improves soon.

The Ospreys, eh? They were the All Whites, or just the Swansea team, once upon a time, a long time ago. My grand-father played for them, before the first world war, and my father had try-outs, before the second. In those days, the boys were all local, Swansea and the Swansea Valley. But that has all changed now. I hope it was a good game. Typical weather!

Oh my goodness! You’d had mentioned that before about your grandfather! What a coincidence! Well they gave it Connaught but good, winning by more than 25 points (forget the score)! A lot of fun to watch with the locals, too.
