For my drawing this week, I chose an enduring classic. My experience with children has been limited to the little time I glean with my friends’ children so I am falling back on fond childhood memories of my own (of which there are precious few) for inspiration for this week’s theme. I present Paddington Bear, who never goes out of style:

I swear some of these prompts were just too vague. Next year I might try to come up with my own. Anyway, food…. Well, drawing actual food did not at all sound like fun. I scrolled through all the recipes I have saved on Pinterest to see if any of the food photos would inspire me. When I came across my recipe for traditional falafel, eureka! I could draw a food truck. Honestly, when I go into the city I look forward to my food truck falafel more than fine dining. (Yep, I’m a cheap date!) So here is my food truck:
