      1. I haven’t seen anything quite like this. I have been stung many times by this creature as a kid living on the beach. The sea is filled with unimaginable life forms.


      2. They are sometimes washed up on the shore and one must be very careful where they step, they still sting. The “so called” remedy is vinegar which one can get at the lifeguard stand. I was once stung by a Man-O-War, they look much the same but believe me, when they sting you you know it is a MoW. ๐Ÿ™‚

      3. Oh man! I can’t imagine what that feels like. I’ve never been stung, even by the little ones in my nearby patch of sand or in my travels either. Wow, a Man of War! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

      1. Soldiers used to wee in their hard leather boots to soften them and it also acted as a soothing agent for the inevitable blisters. Works with burns too.

        Well, that’s it. Am now up to date with your posts. Time to finish the whisky and off to bed.
