And we can hide in the farthest corner trying not to breathe, trying not to make a noise. Not letting our pale skin be seen in the thin light. Or if by chance, we’re found, hoping that death comes quickly…

  6. Now, see, this is the sort of thing I can get behind. None of that sunshine-up-the-butt crap telling you HOW to look on the bright side… but words that say you don’t have to find the bright side… you’ll have company in the dark. Yeah.
