Following the chart to 52 drawings this year.
For my street light, I chose to loosely copy a classic lamp – the kind that are suspended from the sides of buildings in cities where old style architecture is kept alive even if the technology is modern.
Love it, Doc. Reminds me of Paris. 😊

Thanks! I was trying to copy one of your street light photos but they’re night shots and it was hard to get the details. 😃

Ahhh! Sorry. Should’ve given me a heads up. I could’ve sent you one in daylight. Looks terrific, nonetheless. 😃

That would have been cool! Well, I’m sure there are a couple more entries that I can find in your collection for inspiration in the coming weeks! 😃

Very nice Meg! I never knew there was so much variety of street lights till i googled it. I haven’t seen so many different ones in India. I have not drawn yet but it will be interesting to do it.

Glass is very difficult. At least I find. Way to go. Would you be able to see any of the back of the layers through the class or the holes up top? Jus curious. Cheers.

Hmmm maybe… I didn’t have a lot of time to work on this one. I may try again. The photo I used for reference had opaque glass fronts but still the hint of the layers behind may have shown through. Thanks though!

You’re welcome. I think it would give it more dimension, just a hint in the back.
