The Year Of Drawing Adventurously – Week 38: Street Lights

Following the chart to 52 drawings this year.

For my street light, I chose to loosely copy a classic lamp – the kind that are suspended from the sides of buildings in cities where old style architecture is kept alive even if the technology is modern.

  1. Very nice Meg! I never knew there was so much variety of street lights till i googled it. I haven’t seen so many different ones in India. I have not drawn yet but it will be interesting to do it.

  2. Glass is very difficult. At least I find. Way to go. Would you be able to see any of the back of the layers through the class or the holes up top? Jus curious. Cheers.

    1. Hmmm maybe… I didn’t have a lot of time to work on this one. I may try again. The photo I used for reference had opaque glass fronts but still the hint of the layers behind may have shown through. Thanks though!
