Following the chart to 52 drawings this year.
I am not a collector, unless you count books, and I’ve already done a sketch of a stack of books. After that, the first thing that came to mind was bottles. I’ve never had a bottle collection, unless you count my liquor cabinet, but I thought they would be fun to draw and good practice in shading. And after I finished the initial drawing, I decided to see how it would look in color. Here are my collections:

Thank you! I do think old bottles and antique glass items are especially beautiful. However, that kind of thing does seem to attract dust!

Ah these are lovely. You have managed to get the shapes of the bottles perfectly and the shading is super. They look beautiful in color!

Thank you! This was good practice in shading. Always have to imagine where the light source is coming from and keep it consistent. I like the color, too!

Usually I prefer black-and-white sketches, but I love the color version of this one!
