“Flowers” is the theme for Cee’s Black and White Challenge this week. My gardening is really behind schedule this year due to the late arrival of spring AND a backyard catastrophe: our well line ruptured and a new one had to be installed which resulted in digging up the back yard in spectacular fashion! So here are the wild flowers that grow in the nearby woods and the grass:

Oh you would not believe the disaster our back yard is. We spent all day yesterday and today trying to put things back to together! 😩

I love that second picture. I think I could stare at it for a long time… I don’t know why… it’s just so peaceful. Maybe I need to wallpaper my home with it. lol 🙂

Thank you. There is a stretch of woods on one side of the house – this time of year, the wild flox blooms prolifically amongst the trees. It’s lovely!
