The theme for Cee’s Black and White Challenge this week is large subjects.

These shots were taken at St. Mary’s Abbey, near Trim Castle in Ireland. This ruin is the Yellow Steeple:

      1. And it appears I’ll be a ‘Nova fan now. We didn’t get in. I’m bummed, but if we hadn’t blown that game against UVA, we’d be in. Nobody to blame but ourselves. Good luck to y’all. 😔

      2. Nah. After all that’s gone down this year, I’m kinda done. Doubt I’ll even watch any of it. I’m just ready for this nightmare to be over, hire a new coach, and pray next year is better. Good luck to ‘Nova though.

    1. Thank you! Yes, the height of the structure is pretty awesome especially standing alone like that, with the rest of the old church gone. Its a wonder it doesn’t topple over. 😳

    1. I finally broke down and bought a nice camera this year – I’d been taking all my travel photos with my phone. Not that they were bad, but having a good camera gives you some flexibility. Now I just have to learn how to use it to its full potential! Thanks so much Angela!

      1. Awesome!! Looks like you’re having a blast with it. I use my phone, but my husband has a nice camera and has been learning how to use it for the last year or so. I don’t have the patience! Now we just have to travel more. Lol.

      2. Yep! I’d go just about anywhere! Lol. We are home bound this spring break as my 16 year old is having her wisdom teeth out and we are remodeling another floor of our house. Fun, but tiring! I’ll be happy when summer comes around. We are going to PA like we do every year and maybe Connecticut and Maryland.
