I love when I can say… “I’ve been there!” since I haven’t been anywhere for quite a while… 🙂

….but there would be no room for clothes. It would be full of pens, paper, books, and the odd bottle of Malt!

Do you know what name jumps out to me and for what reason. This is a test on how closely you pay attention. Remember I haven’t really read the WWI war poets

Nichols. But why. I can’t remember. Or is it Graves?

Well Graves would be on my radar for the sheer craziness of the White Goddess but no, it is Herbert Read who wrote the first study of Surrealism in English, called Surrealism which was given as a gift to Leonora Carrington which eventually led her to meeting Max Ernst. He also wrote a damn fine though extremely odd novel called The Green Child. He was primarily an art critic.

Ah, ok. Not paying enough attention. We talked about Graves and his Spanish Flu experience. One of these guys and I forget which one, has a connection to New Hope near where I live. Don’t fail me professor.

Oh dear I am not sure…you know my scope is narrow, the typical shortcomings of an autodidact.

Ha! No, I mean don’t give me a failing mark in class. Want to remain teacher’s pet!
