Thanks! I saw an exhibition of photography that featured the ‘bird’s eye and worm’s eye’ views, so that’s what I’ve been messing around with.

I like the linear aspect of this, combined with the curvature at the bottom corner. Leads the eye. 😃

That’s the best way to do it. Lot easier now, with digital. Got kinda pricey back in the days of film and processing. 😃

Yep. Much easier. I still miss film, and primarily the processing. The darkroom was my sanctuary. 😃

Hahaha! I still have all my stuff to set one up, but the only place I could really do it is up in the attic. In winter, that’s ok. But in summer? I like it hot, but that’s a bit too much for even me. Really, the only film is use now is for my medium format camera, and I send it out by mail. At some point, when boys are gone, I’ll use one of their rooms for a proper darkroom. Til then though, it’s digital for me. 😃

Oh don’t blame you… our attic gets into the 150 degree range. We were thinking about running pipe up there for hot water in the summer!

Ha! No doubt. The boys want me to turn into a man cave, but they’d melt up there in the summer. Not to mention snakes find their way in there too. 😳

No, just cow snakes or rat snakes. We do have poisonous snakes here, rattlesnakes, water moccasins, and copperheads. Rarely ever see one though.

Believe it or not, we get the occasional copperhead in this area. My house is just a few hundred yards from a large stream and one of its small tributaries forms the border of our property. I gotta be careful poking the woodpile!

Yep. They love the wood pile. They get under my mower sometimes too. When I back it out, there’s a big ole’ rat snake curled up on the floor. I’m not a fan, but I live and let live. They certainly help control our field mouse population. 😃
