It looks great. Did you hold a hand in that position and draw with the other hand? Or take a picture? Or use your imagination? I can’t get my hand in that position. Is something wrong with me? LOL
Thanks! No I couldn’t hold that position long enough to sketch it. I took a photo, which wasn’t exactly easy either. Even with the reverse camera on the phone!
Nothing at all, it’s confirmation and communion season so backs to the wall heaviness at work. I have a post planned and something I will tell you about later.
Oh funny! A mentor of mine said a large part of learning to draw is learning to ‘see’ the subject you’re drawing. I’m still working on it. Anyway thank you kindly!
Amazing.

Good work, Doc. Hands are always hard to depict accurately. 😃

Thanks, Beach! That is for sure. I must erase as much as I draw! 😃

I hear ya’. You do a hell of a lot better than I do with hands. 😃

Ah… ok I will wait to hear from you and in the mean time I will go heat water in my stone age kettle and brew a cup of tea.

Interesting how hands sketch hands. I’ve tried to do mine: but I dont live in the real world, artistically speaking. Hence the cartoons.

I’m partway between realism and cartoon… I am striving hard to improve. Although I am having to learn patience as much as anything!

Patience: not one of my card games, I’m afraid!

Great perspective and space created. If I draw my own hand for a scene in my book, when I see it later, I have drawn my husband’s hand! No kidding.

Meg, you did a fantastic job. You hands speak strength to me and the nails speak of a mindful woman 🙂

Thank you Jacqui! I love getting my nails done! I spend an awful lot of time looking at my own hands! 😃
