The dreary month of January needs a little cheer. Al the Author has started a new hashtag to banish those winter blues. AND I composed the haiku in response to Ronovan Writes’ Weekly Haiku challenge. It’s my first time participating.

What do you mean ‘both’? I thought about the hashtag… but I don’t know if I’m even capable of banishing the blues. I’ve had a little trouble with that. You may have noticed I’m not the most cheerful person on earth… I know it’s difficult to see that about me… HA!

Ronovan’s haiku challenge… or wait. Do you already do that one? I am clueless… I’ve never participated before so I may not have been paying attention to whether your haikus were part of that. And you can do the hashtag, cheerful or not!

I’ve never done the haiku challenge. Also… I thought the hashtag was to escape the blah season… I thought I had to be cheerful. I swear, it’s weird for me to type “I” and “cheerful” in the same sentence!

Gross. Hahaha. I suppose it’s wrong that being all positive and shit is gross to me. I think it’s because I tend to assume too much positivity has GOT to be fake. 😀
