Lavender mist, drenched in color
Fed by love and sun and water
Or petals wither, fade and pale
Saturate moss and leaves exhale
Treat with tenderness, gently nurture
Like a new love, delicate orchid
Inspired by Emily’s post… I was feeling pretty low on Wednesday, but flowers always make me smile. Especially the ones that bloom again and again.
Glad your mood has lifted x

Flowers can change our moods. They add so much to any space, too. Happy you’re in a better place. happy weekend.

I can’t imagine life without books… or blooms. Like you, I have an orchid in my home for mood-lifting and just to enjoy the intricate beauty every day.

Flowers make me smile — and I love them outside growing far more than cut in a vase. Mom’s yard is full of gorgeous flowers of all kinds — she’s pretty much a self-taught landscaper. I, on the other hand, kill almost everything I try to grow. 😀 Feel free to laugh at me. I am a killer! Careful or I may overwater you.
Sorry you were down… but glad you’re feeling better! Hope you have a great weekend… even though it’s almost half over…

Just got home from a 4 1/2 hour baby shower…. 😑

I’m going to “like” that you’re home, not that it was so long. Good God… 4 1/2 hours! I would throw people out of my own party before then! Of course, we all know I would never have a party in the first place. LOL! My daughter was at a birthday party that changed location part way through… total time was 5 1/2 hours! But that’s little kids — they never run out of “fun”… 😀

Yeah it was grueling… But the food was incredible, at least. Oh and the cake! It was a double layer cappuccino cake with chocolate chips! I think I need insulin 😂

Yum! Cappuccino is the magic word for me. Of course, there are several other magic words that come to mind.

This is really delicately beautiful and on days that we feel low, nothing like a pick me up to light up our hearts. I’ve published your awesome interview 🙂

I have a feeling that I’m going to love it 😊 I love a good sense of humour. I have a small blog, but I’m very fortunate to have some truly amazing followers – a term that I’ve never liked. I much prefer the term ‘friend’ 😊

I don’t know how I missed this!! WP has been weird for me lately, not emailing me notifications, etc. Thanks for the link to my page! And beautiful poem! Love it lots.
