Ha! The old bbc tv series is my favorite adaptation of the books actually. I’ve never checked to see if it’s available for streaming anywhere, but if you can find it, have a look!

I’ve never seen the BBC series. I’ll have to look it up. I didn’t like the movie. I found it so boring that I didn’t even finish it.

If you looked hard there were little nods to the series buried in the background. The series is a gem, although it’s from 1980 so it may seem really dated by now.
