Nice… Nothing wrong with a little darkness. Or even a lot. 🙂 I have a confession… other than Stairway to Heaven, I have never heard a Led Zeppelin song in my life! I like Queen though. Like I was mentioning over on my post for today… for some reason, I had a few for Q. I am weird… 😀
Oh my god! You’re kidding me?!? Fool In The Rain? Whole Lotta Love? D’yer Maker? And with a musician husband? Are you sure? Nah, I don’t believe you! 😀
Hahaha… He doesn’t care about Led Zeppelin either… but he has heard far more than I have. Hmm… Whole Lotta Love sounds familiar…. But I have no idea what that would sound like. I must have been off in the corner with The Smiths or something… 😀
Well, we know who they are… we just never listened to them. LOL John may have a little before I met him. As far as the Beatles and Stones… yes, we’ve listened to them… 😀 These days, though, I tend to listen to less of the older, more of the newer…
I default to some of my older music when I’m feeling reflective or nostalgic. I do love a lot of newer music, too, though. And with concert season starting… Sigh. But the hubs is a dud when it comes to live music. I’m borrowing my friend’s daughter to go see 21 Pilots! 😃
I used to go to tons of shows… but my God they have gotten SO expensive! There are and cheaper options in the city…And I’m very close to it… but then we have to REALLY love the artist to get someone to watch the kids, fight traffic, and my nightmare — SO damn many people in a small-ish space! LOL
One nice thing about living near Philly is I can hop on the train and it’ll drop you off right down near the sports stadiums for bigger shows or in center city for theater shows. No hassle with parking or traffic! 😃
That’s cool. We are only 10 minutes from the city, but the closest public transportation for us is a bus… And they stop running too early… And yeah…traffic…And I forgot about parking. Dear me, that is pricey here. Just add minimum $20 to the price of admission…
Love it! Can’t fault the Zep either 🙂

Wow, that is one scary ass picture! Love the limerick, even though it’s, as you say, dark and depressing, lol…

I almost did Queen, too. But I couldn’t decide between the band or Queen Elizabeth! Lol!

Lol, it’s why I added the Freddie Mercury quote. Yours was uber creative, as always!

Ah, a dark Q. I was guessing you were going to write about James Bond’s Q, Guess wrong. This was good.

DAMN! I didn’t even think of that! That would’ve been great! 😩

LOVE this and you must know by now that if you add Zep to the mix I’m a gonner.

This was a case of the song inspiring the post, not the other way around! I almost did Queen, the band… or the monarch and I couldn’t decide! 😀

One of my favorite Zeppelin songs. When I saw the title of your post, that’s the first thing that came to mind. Great minds, huh? 😃

I figured, after reading it. Can’t go wrong with Zeppelin…the greatest rock band of all time, in my opinion. 😃

Yep! Me too. Just once for Morrisey, twice for the cure. And Disintegration was incredible!
