Magic – a limerick

The spot was still warm where he’d slept

I buried my head in the pillow and wept

Where once there’d been magic

Our love had turned tragic

When, from our bed at first light he had crept

In response to Mind and Life Matters limerick challenge.

      1. Of all of the people online
Who’ll fall victim to my crime
        I like you the most
        Never make you ghost
Or at least not at this time

So I’ll go and mend this fence
        Cower in my recompense
        So now you will see
        You’re treasure to me
I’m sorry I was so dense

      1. I am not so sure. I am afraid I might get laughed at again. It’s becoming a little stressful now. All I have to do is show up and people start laughing at me.
