No, can’t take credit! Author Luke Romyn shared it on Twitter. That’s exactly what my brain feels like some days though! 😜

Haha. As someone who does a little bit of writing, I can say that this is definitely true!

I see I am not alone in thinking all writers can relate to this one, at least at some time in their writing life. Enjoyed it.

I am not that wise about many things but I am wise enough to know I do not want to be a writer. 🙂 That is why I appreciate all of your hard work so much Meg! With that said I love your post.

Meg, that is the PERFECT image. I would add my boss saying, “Blah, blah. . . . . blah blah. Blah blah?” And me thinking — Man, you just interrupted a perfect thought. And I couldn’t write it down! And if you would shut up for a minute, I might get it back!

Reblogged this on Francesca Bergamasco and commented:
Dr. Meg Sorick shared this cartoon which so exactly expresses how I feel when I have an idea running — there is an electricity and immediacy — wonderful and wild all at the same time. When I saw this, it reminds me of how I feel when I really, desperately need to get to my notebook before I lose something. And I have wondered if the people working around me have any sense of the rush of energy closed inside of my skull. What a great feeling!
